These factors resulted in Business North Carolina magazine naming Apex as the Best Small Town in North Carolina.   Following this honor, CNN/Money Magazine in July 2007, while compiling its list of the 100 Best Places in America to Live, proclaimed Apex as the best in all of North Carolina and the 14th Best in America to live, work, and raise a family.
