Towns in Johnston County 

Clayton is located in Western Johnston County off exit 306 & 309 of I40 and Hwy 70. 

Cleveland Area (locals call it the "4042 area") is an unincorporated part of Western Johnston County between exits 312 and 319 off I40.  Note: There are 5 zip codes comprising this area. You will need a realtor to assist you in finding a home around this part of Johnston County.  We search by area, not zip code.

Smithfield is the county seat.  I95 runs right through the town.

Selma is just north of Smithfield.  I95 also runs through the town.

Benson is at the Southeastern part of the county at the intersection of I95 and I40.  It's very convenient to the highways with easy access to both Raleigh and Fayetteville.

Four Oaks is located between Benson and Smithfield. 

Wilson Mills is between Clayton and Smithfield.  The new Hwy 70 Bypass is a great way to get into Raleigh.

Archers Lodge is an unincorporated part of Northern Johnston County, just above Clayton.

Princetown and Kenly are the northern towns.
